WELCOME TO CARI’S HOME
A private reformer Pilates studio where core strength, mindful movement, and balance come together in a calming, supportive space.
Meet Cari
Hi, I’m Cari — founder of Cari You Home.
With a background in exercise science and personal training, my own journey as a mum of spontaneous triplets deepened my passion for safe, restorative movement. After facing diastasis recti, scoliosis, and postpartum recovery firsthand, I trained as a reformer Pilates teacher specialising in prenatal and postnatal care. Today, I combine science with lived experience to help others reconnect with their bodies, build confidence, and feel at home in themselves again.

Why This Work Matters to Me
This work is deeply personal to me. For years, I lived with the weight of disconnection — from my body, from my sense of self, and from the inner calm I longed for. Through mindful movement, science-based rehabilitation, and deep self-compassion, I found my way back.
That process felt like coming home to myself — to a place where I could breathe again, feel strong, move freely, and trust my body. It wasn’t easy, but it changed everything.
Now, my mission is to offer that same hope and possibility to others. If I could rebuild from a place of pain and depletion, I believe you can too. That belief is what inspired the name of my practice — and my commitment to gently “Cari You Home”.
Who I Work With
I work with people who want to reconnect with their bodies, rebuild strength, and move with confidence — whether that’s after childbirth, injury, or living with chronic pain.
You might be:
A first-time mum or years into motherhood, looking to restore core strength, pelvic floor function, and balance
Someone living with scoliosis, disc issues, or back pain, seeking safe and effective movement strategies
Anyone ready to invest in themselves, prioritise well-being, and rebuild confidence in their body
No matter where you’re starting from, I provide tailored guidance, compassionate support, and practical tools so you can move with ease, feel stronger, and reclaim a sense of home in your body.
My Mission
I know firsthand what it feels like to live disconnected from your body — to carry pain, fatigue, or uncertainty, and wonder if you’ll ever feel like yourself again. But I also know that transformation is possible.
My mission is simple: to guide you back to your own body and inner sense of home. Through mindful movement, personalised guidance, and compassionate support, I help you:
Rebuild strength, stability, and confidence
Restore trust and connection with your body
Move with ease and freedom in everyday life
Every programme, session, and coaching moment is designed to meet you where you are, empower you to progress at your pace, and help you reclaim a sense of wholeness.

My Journey
I’ve always had a passion for helping people feel at home in their bodies. That passion guided me to study Exercise & Rehabilitation Science and train as a Personal Trainer. But life took me on a journey I hadn’t planned — I became a mother of spontaneous triplets.
Three years into postpartum life, I was still living with untreated diastasis recti, scoliosis, and a body that felt completely disconnected from itself. Everyday movement felt challenging, core strength seemed out of reach, and I struggled to reconnect with the body I once knew.
That experience sparked a deep, personal exploration of what true healing really means. I wanted to understand not only how the body could rebuild strength, but how the mind could trust it again. To better serve other mothers, I trained as a Reformer Pilates teacher specialising in prenatal and postnatal programming. I wanted to see if it was possible — to feel connected to my core again — and to share that possibility with others.
Alongside motherhood, I navigated an ongoing journey with scoliosis and complex PTSD. Through consistent movement, mindful practice, and self-compassion, I gradually rebuilt my strength, balance, and confidence. That transformation — feeling “at home” in my body again — is at the heart of everything I do today.
Every programme, every session, and every coaching conversation is shaped by this journey. I understand the struggles, the doubts, and the small victories because I’ve lived them myself. And I want to pass on that sense of hope, empowerment, and reconnection to you.
With me, you’re not just learning exercises — you’re finding your way back to yourself, just like I did.

“I recently had the pleasure of attending private Reformer Pilates sessions with Cari. I was very impressed by her professionalism and her extensive knowledge in postpartum rehabilitation given her impressive background in Clinical Exercise Science.
Cari's passion is evident from the very first session, where her deep understanding of the body's mechanics and alignment shines through. Her approach is meticulous and tailored, ensuring each movement is performed with precision and proper form.
What sets Cari apart is her ability to bridge the gab between clinical knowledge and practical application. She takes the time to explain the purpose behind each exercise, highlighting the muscle groups involved and the benefits for overall health and posture. This educational aspect, not only enhances the workout experience but also empowers clients to be more aware of their bodies and movements.
Her sessions are both challenging and rewarding, offering a balanced mix of strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. The fact that she is one of the most genuine, full-hearted instructors I've worked with just really adds to the entire experience.”

"When I first came to Pilates with Cari I was struggling with a herniated disc and honestly feeling nervous about what I could and couldn’t do. From day one, she made me feel completely at ease. She took the time to really understand my injury and built sessions around what my body needed, never pushing in a way that felt unsafe but always encouraging me to move with confidence.
What makes her stand out is how present she is during every class. She notices the little things — a small adjustment here, a word of reassurance there — and that attention makes all the difference. I never feel like I’m just going through the motions; I feel supported, cared for, and guided every step of the way.
Over time, I’ve not only felt relief in my back, but I’ve also grown stronger, more flexible, and more confident in my training not just on the Reformer but in the gym too. What started as a way to manage pain has become something I genuinely look forward to each week. She’s created such a warm and comfortable space that I always leave her sessions feeling better than when I walked in."
